Homemade Strawberry Syrup
Ingredients
• 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled & sliced
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup water
• 1 tsp lemon juice (optional, brightens flavor)
Instructions
1. Add strawberries, sugar, and water to a saucepan.
2. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a simmer.
3. Simmer 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until strawberries break down.
4. Mash strawberries gently with a spoon or masher.
5. Simmer 5 more minutes, then remove from heat.
6. Strain through a fine mesh strainer, pressing to release all syrup.
7. Stir in lemon juice if using.
8. Let cool. Syrup will thicken as it cools.
Store syrup in the fridge up to 1 week.

• 4 black tea bags
• Ice
Instructions
1. Bring water to a rolling boil.
2. Remove from heat and add tea bags.
