Ingredients 

  • ▢16 ounce package premade chocolate chip cookie dough
  • ▢16 Oreo cookies
  • ▢18 ounce box brownie mix plus ingredients called for on box

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a 9×9 or 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
  • Gently press the cookie dough with your hands into the bottom of the dish so it completely covers.
  • Arrange the oreos evenly across the cookie dough.
  • Prepare the brownies according to the back of the box, and pour evenly across the oreo layer.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until fully baked.
  • Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

Storage:

  • To Store: Store your Slutty Brownies in an airtight container on the countertop for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • To Freeze: These brownies can also be frozen for up to 3 months. I recommend cutting them into squares and placing in a freezer bag or freezer-safe container. Defrost on the countertop when you are ready to serve.

Tips:

  • Make sure you let your brownies cool completely before slicing them–it will improve the texture and taste of the brownie. Brownies are still cooking when you pull them out of the oven. They need this cooling time to finish baking and firm up.
  • Be sure to line your pan with parchment paper. Not only will this prevent your brownies from sticking, it also creates a nice little carrier that allows you to easily remove your brownies in one solid slab, especially because this recipe has 3 heavy layers.
