📌Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) beef ribeye, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and gochujang. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the beef slices to the bowl and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
