1️⃣ CLASSIC BUTTERMILK BISCUITS

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

¼ tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

6 tbsp unsalted butter, cold & cubed

¾ cup cold buttermilk

Method:

Preheat oven to 450°F.

Whisk flour, baking powder, soda, and salt.

Cut in cold butter with a fork or pastry blender until it looks like crumbs.

Stir in buttermilk until dough forms.

Turn onto floured surface, fold dough over itself 3 times (creates layers!), pat to 1-inch thick, and cut.

Bake 12–15 mins until golden.

2️⃣ CHEDDAR GARLIC BISCUITS
Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp garlic powder + ½ tsp salt

½ cup cold butter

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar

¾ cup whole milk

Topping: 2 tbsp melted butter + parsley

Method:

Preheat to 425°F.

Whisk dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Stir in cheese.

Add milk and mix gently.

Drop onto baking sheet or cut into rounds.

Bake 12–15 mins. Brush with butter/parsley topping immediately.

3️⃣ CHOCOLATE CHIP BISCUITS
Ingredients:

2 cups flour

¼ cup sugar

1 tbsp baking powder + ½ tsp salt

6 tbsp cold butter

¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

¾ cup heavy cream (or buttermilk)

Method:

Preheat to 425°F.

Whisk dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Toss in chips.

Stir in cream until dough forms.

Pat into a circle and cut into 8 wedges (pizza style).

Bake 12–15 mins.

4️⃣ SOUTHERN BISCUITS & GRAVY
Ingredients:

Biscuits: Use Recipe #1 above.

Gravy: 1 lb pork sausage, ⅓ cup flour, 3–4 cups whole milk, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper.

Method:

Bake biscuits and set aside.

Brown sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat. Do not drain grease.

Sprinkle flour over sausage; stir for 1 min.

Slowly pour in milk, stirring constantly so it doesn’t lump.

Simmer until thick. Season heavily with salt and pepper.

Ladle over split biscuits.

5️⃣ BLUEBERRY BISCUITS WITH GLAZE
Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1 tbsp baking powder + ½ tsp salt

3 tbsp sugar

6 tbsp cold butter

¾ cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

¾ cup buttermilk

Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar + 1 tbsp milk + vanilla

Method:

Preheat to 400°F.

Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter.

Gently fold in berries (don’t crush them!). Add buttermilk and mix.

Pat dough gently and cut out rounds.

Bake 15–18 mins. Drizzle glaze while warm.

6️⃣ HAM & CHEESE POCKETS
Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1 tbsp baking powder + ½ tsp baking soda + ½ tsp salt

½ tsp onion powder

6 tbsp cold butter

1 cup diced ham + 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

¾ cup buttermilk

Method:

Preheat to 425°F.

Whisk dry ingredients and onion powder. Cut in butter.

Toss in ham and cheese. Add buttermilk and mix.

Fold dough 2-3 times on a floured board, cut into squares.

Bake 14–16 mins until cheese bubbles
